New home education taster sessions (for all ages)…

Join us for our new spring term home education group...Set in magical woodland at White House Farm our sessions are led by qualified tutors in a private and safe outdoor space. We start each session around the GroWild campfire and offer ample opportunity for children (and adults!) to explore the environment, learn new skills and make new friends!

The sessions are for mixed ages. We aim to meet the needs of all learners and therefore will offer two groups within the sessions. We hope that this will offer a greater flexibility to parents who have two or more siblings of a range of ages with differing needs from our sessions:

Younger learners (approx 0- 7 years) will be able to take part in child-led Forest School inspired outdoor play including mud pie kitchens, nature crafts, treasure hunts, stories and den building. 

Older learners (7 years +) will be offered more structured sessions with tool work, fire lighting techniques, knot uses, basic bushcraft, woodland ID, campfire cookery and plenty of time for creative and free play.

Parents will be required to stay with children under the age of 6 years. Children 6 years + may be dropped off for the session (please notify us during the booking process).

Note: ALL sessions MUST be pre-booked due to staff ratios.
