New GroWild Kindergarten!
We are excited to announce the launch of our brand new Kindergarten in Autumn 2019. We will be offering outdoor play, learning and fun for children aged 2 to 5 years.
GroWild Ethos
The kindergarten will follow the same ethos as all growild activities. We will provide ADVENTUROUS, engaging and immersive experiences for children to encourage them to take risks, learn, try new things, explore friendships and connect with the natural environment.
New Woodland Site
the kindergarten will be based on a woodland new site in sprowston - not far from our original site. The woodland is made up of a variety of trees and hosts a range of flora and fauna to support outdoor learning. The woodland is secure and available only to growild.
The original site will still be used for other growild activities.
Full Outdoor Provision
The kindergarten will be an outdoor provision, making THE MOST OF the woodland space. Our site will be fully equipped to support children spending all day outside in all weathers. children will be encouraged to think about their own needs and wellbeing whilst outdoors.
Our new site will also host an indoor space. This will be used only when weather does not permit us to safely be in the woods. Having this indoor space will allow us to provide year round regardless of weather conditions.
Forest School
The kindergarten will follow the forest school ethos. as well as being in a woodland, we will do this by support the holistic development of each child in our care through careful observation and reflection of each child’s needs and interests. This will help us to scaffold experiences and provide child-led play, supporting their wellbeing, emotional learning and development.
Our Team
GroWild Kindergarten will be staffed by qualified early years professionals and forest school leaders, supported by GROWILD MANAGEMENT. all of our staff are chosen for their knowledge and experience of working with young children, and all have additional skills that play a vital role in our team.
